First impressions are important. With some, it may be the only moments of interaction you ever have. In a world where the media churns out negativity, where fear and uncertainty are common, positivity is vital. It all starts with us. So, to that end, I endeavor to be friendly, put on a genuine smile ( you know the kind that lights up the eyes), and make my first impression one of openness, and welcome. Notice I said ‘endeavor’, because it’s something I continue to work on. It can be quite challenging, on difficult days, but you never know when a friendly gesture, or a simple smile, can make a difference in someone else’s day.😊
