Reading! That was my favorite. I know it’s not deemed a ‘subject’ in school, but for me, it was the portal of mysteries, knowledge, and wonders. I developed a love of mythology and history, at an early age, and frequently got lost in reading about ancient times, and far away lands. It was my favorite past time, through much of my life, and I still find ways to inject it into my day (like reading while riding a stationary bike). It’s such a wonderful way to enrich the imagination, gain knowledge, and relieve stress. I’m thrilled that my 3 year old granddaughter is showing an interest! I will gladly help her cultivate that seed😊.
