Unity! That’s my favorite word. Meaning: being together or at one with someone or something. The opposite of divided.

A wonderful state of being that the world needs. There’s a great rift in our country created by political and religious beliefs. I’ve witnessed the effects so many times, among those I love most. We need the salve of unity to heal. The commonality we all have as being in the human family, sharing the same earth, breathing the same air, feeling the same sun shining above. We are all in this together. No matter how different we look, think, worship, etc., we are the same in so many ways. Contemplation of this very fact could change the world.
