What daily habit do you do that improves your quality of life?

I try to start my day with a period of quietness. It can be only 15-20 minutes, or up to an hour or so, but having time of solitude and quite, to clear the mind of thoughts, is a must, for me. I also practice gratitude contemplation several times a day. Doing both of these practices, aid me in staying balanced, and positive.
